The science and art of tennis

The quality of a shot (power and consistance) is determined by the contact at the racquet "sweet spot". This is the core of tennis. This contact lasts ~1/200th of one second ( ~ 5ms) only.  However,  the reaction time for human being is ~ 0.2 seconds.  Basically,  even best pro players can do nothing at contact.  Then why can tennis players still be differenciated?

The secrets are:  if we cannot do magic at contact,   we still can do something good before and after contact!

We can imagine to  "catch" the ball right before the contact,  we can imagine to "throw" the ball right after contact.  Catch and Throw  is combination of "reaction and action", can help on forehand form, and is kind of art in tennis.
